New Delhi: Motorola has slashed the price of its high-end shatterproof smartphone Moto X Force by up to Rs 16,000.

The Moto X Force retailed at a launch price of Rs 49,999 and now the company has decided to cut down the price by Rs 15,000 for the 32GB variant and Rs 16,000 for the 64GB variant, which has brought the price down to Rs 34,999 and Rs 37,999, respectively.

The price cut is effective only for the Indian market and the company hopes that the reduced price may attract buyers for the Moto X Force. Both the variants are available on Flipkart, but the offer is for a limited time period.

The Moto X Force features a 5.4-inch AMOLED Quad HD display and is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 with 2.0 GHz octa-core CPUs coupled with 3GB of RAM. It has a 21-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, 4K video recording and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera and supports a microSD card of up to 2 TB.
