Absconding liquor baron Vijay Mallya, accused of defaulting on several bank loans amounting to nearly Rs 9,000 crore,  today slammed India media for running what he called an “intense hate campaign” against him.

Mallya asked the Indian media to wait till the London court delivers its judgment in the extradition case filed against him by the Indian government.

“Intense hate campaign by Indian media against me knows no bounds. The GOI has filed a case which is before a U.K. court. Wait for verdict,” Vijay Mallya tweeted.

Vijay Mallya’s tweet comes a day after the Westminster Magistrates Court in London granted him bail till December 4.

On Tuesday, Mallya once again denied all allegations levelled against him and taunted Indian authorities by advising them to keep dreaming about million pounds.

"You can keep dreaming about the million pounds provided you have facts to justify your question. You don't know the facts so don't ask irrelevant questions," Mallya told media persons after the London court granted him the bail.

"I deny all allegations that have been made and I will continue to deny them. I have not eluded any court...I have enough evidence to prove my case,” he added.

He also denied allegations of diverting funds to the Indian Premier League team Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) which he previously owned.
