Intex launches its first eight-core Aqua Octa at Rs 19,999

New Delhi: Homegrown handset maker Intex has launched Aqua Octa, its first octa-core processor smartphone. Intex Aqua Octa is now available from Snapdeal at Rs 19,999.

The smartphone measures 161.06 x 80.86 x 7 millimeters and is available in either black or white. Aqua Octa is a dual-SIM smartphone that comes with a six-inch capacitive touch OGS HD display that offers a 720x1280 resolution.

The device has a 13MP rear autofocus camera and also a 5MP front camera, and supports various video formats such as 3GPP, 3GP, MP4 and AVI and can play 60 FPS video files.
 
As advertised, the phone is powered by an octa core processor clocks a speed of 1.7 GHz, and with all eight cores running simultaneously the smartphone has the ability to allocate individual browser tabs to CPU cores in order to offer better multitasking experience in terms of music, visual, multimedia, gaming, and web browsing, with an optimal use of the power and battery. The phone gets its juice from a 2300 mAh battery that provides up to six hours of talk time and 180 hours of standby.
 
The phone comes with 16GB internal memory and 2GB RAM making it faster and better while multi-tasking. Also, the phone comes with 5GB cloud memory. Running on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean the smartphone has plethora of connectivity options available via Micro 5 Pin port, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3G, EDGE, GPRS and WAP.
