Even the B-town couldn’t keep itself away from the Bengaluru mass molestation cases that have shocked the whole nation. After actors Farhan Akhtar and Akshay Kumar criticised incidents, another star Hrithik Roshan voiced his opinion on the issue and said that it was sad and people should do something about it.
The Greek god of Bollywood was present during the song launch of his upcoming film ‘Kaabil’. When he was asked about the molestation case, he informed that he was not here, and couldn’t see the news when it happened but the incident was sad. Hrithik further added that as a father, and member of society he was strongly affected by such events happening so close to him.
He said, “I feel very strongly as a father, as the member of the society that if something like this is happening in an environment so close to me then I definitely am impacted and affected and I must do something about it.”
The actor stated that people should do things to stop such happenings in the society.
Today, Akshay Kumar also slammed the happenings and released video asking girls to learn self defence for their protection. He even called animals better than some humans.
On a related note, ‘Kaabil’ directed by Sanjay Gupta features Yami Gautam opposite Hrithik. Both the actors will be seen playing the role of visually impaired people.
The movie is slated to release on January 25 and will lock horns with Shah Rukh Khan and Mahira Khan’s ‘Raees’.
