What? Akshay Kumar gets detained at London’s Heathrow Airport?
New Delhi: Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is way too busy these days, all thanks to his forthcoming movie ‘Rustom’.
The actor is leaving no stone unturned to prepare for his role in the movie.
However, this much-anticipated movie recently gave the ‘Baby’ actor a pretty bad experience.
Reportedly, Akshay Kumar, who was travelling to London for the shooting of ‘Rustom’, was detained at London’s Heathrow Airport.
Yes! And this was because the actor didn’t have a valid visa because of which he was made to wait in the general waiting area of the airport for approximately one and a half hour with other detained passengers.
According to the media reports, the airport officials stated that there were discrepancies in the documents of Akshay and hence, they could not allow him without a valid visa. The ‘Airlift’ star requested be put in a private area where he could wait, but his request was declined saying that there isn’t a designated space for that.
On the other hand, Akshay has reportedly denied the incident saying he had a valid visa and was out of the airport quickly.
Akshay Kumar will be seen playing the role of a naval officer in ‘Rustom’ which is slated to hit the screens on 12th August, 2016.
