Akshay Kumar, after rolling out films like Toilet: Ek Prem Katha and Padman, now has his eyes set on 'Gold'. Yes, it is true, Akshay Kumar is now eyeing for Gold. The actor has already taken off to London for his upcoming film whose name is 'Gold'. Khiladi Kumar has shared his avatar for the upcoming film on Twitter account. The monochrome look has smitten the fans so much that the picture managed to get more than 12 thousand likes and 1 thousand comments. 

He gave it a caption, "Set out on a brand new journey, aiming for nothing less than #GOLD! Day 1 of Gold, need your love and best wishes as always :)"

Now you've already seen Akshay's guise for the patrioctic film. But do you know who's going to be his lady in the film? Ritesh Sidhwani last night confirmed the entire cast of the upcoming film. Popular Television actress Mouni Roy is going to star alongside Akshay Kumar in 'Gold'.

The first look features a suave Akshay Kumar donning a mustache carrying a sling bag. The actor is seen wearing a chequered waistcoat.

 

'Gold' marks to be the first association between the ' Rustom' star and Excel Entertainment led byRitesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar.The film is to be directed by Reema Kagti and marks the Bollywood debut of actress Mouni Royopposite Akshay Kumar.' Gold' is about India's first Olympic medal win as a free nation in the year 1948 at Games of the XIV Olympiad, London.

Staying true to the genre of the film, the newly announced film is to release on Independence Day, 2018. We'll have to wait till the next year to see our Khiladi Kumar spilling the magic on the big screens with his yet another patriotic film after 'Airlift' and 'Rustom.
