Baahubali 2 earns 1600 cr in 5 weeks: Prabhas's film can mint 2000 cr after China release
Creating unstoppable sensation all over, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion is breaking box-office records like a king. The fifth week box-collection of the film is out. And, SS Rajamouli’s film has successfully entered 1600 crore club. Baahubali 2 is all set to release in China soon and, experts have predicted that it will work wonders in the nation.
Some have even said that the Prabhas starrer will do better business than Dangal. As per trade estimates, the film is expected to collect more than Rs 2000 crore. On the other hand, superstar Aamir Khan's Dangal, which received phenomenal response in China, has officially beaten Baahubali 2. Dangal did a whopping Rs 800 crore business in China and Taiwan, while Baahubali 2 collected Rs 1000 cr in India alone.Trade analyst Taran Adarsh said that Baahubali 2 may make a "huge impression" in China.
After Dangal's fabulous performance in China, Aamir's film entered the same league as Baahubali 2 in terms of global box office digits. Aamir Khan told reports at a recent event that he's happy with the success of both the films but one shouldn't compare Baahubali 2 and Dangal. "I am really happy that Dangal is getting appreciated in China and all over the world. I don't think we should compare two films. Dangal and Baahubali 2 are good in their own space and above all both films are Indian films which are making its mark all over the world. I am very proud of Baahubali as well," Aamir told IANS.
Baahubali 2: The Conclusion released in April 28 in India, USA and the gulf countries. In USA too, Baahubali 2 performed superbly and became the first Indian film there to make over Rs. 100 crore. The film stars Prabhas, rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Ramya Krishnan and Sathyaraj in lead roles.
