In shocking twist of events, it was recently reported that Anushka Shetty was removed from Prabhas’s Saaho owing to weight issues. However, the Baahubali princess was never a part of the Sujeeth directorial venture, fresh reports suggest. Prabhas and Anushka wowed the audience in SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2: The Conclusion and, everybody wanted them to star together again in Saaho. Now, it looks like the duo won’t be sharing screen space in the film after all.

Reports suggest that Saaho shooting will only start from July end and, Anushka Shetty hasn’t been finalized for the film.  “The shooting is not happening at this moment; it’ll only start from this month end. These reports about Anushka are false because she’s not yet confirmed. The makers are yet to take a call. They’ll take a decision soon. [Also], everyone is speculating that Anushka is finalised for Saaho because the same banner is producing a film called Bhagmati, which stars Anushka in the lead”, a source was quoted as saying to India.com.

Further, the source said that Anushka is not overweight at all. “She’s looking good and she’s acting in one more film [Bhagmati]. She gained weight for Size Zero, but that was two years ago, and after that, she did Baahubali and she looked very much in shape”, added the source.

Well, this means that Prabhas’s leading lady for Saaho hasn’t been finalized yet. Earlier, there were reports that Sonam Kapoor was first considered to play Prabhas’s herione but things didn’t work out and the projects fell into Anushka’s lap. Written and directed by Sujeeth, the film will mostly be shot in Mumbai. The movie also stars actor Neil Nitin Mukesh as an antagonist.
