‘Choose your words wisely’: Sunny Leone’s indirect reaction on RGV’s apology
After filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma’s recent derogatory tweet on actress Sunny Leone on International Women’s day, the day has now expressed an indirect comment through her microblogging site.
Sunny posted a video on her Twitter handle urging people to choose their words wisely. The actress also added that she has read all news hinting at filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma’s apology and tweets. However, she didn’t take director’s name in the video.
Sunny through her video shared message that change will happen only if people have one voice and added that they should choose their words wisely.
She tweeted, “Change only happens when we have one voice, so let's choose your words wisely! Peace and love!!”
Notably, filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma posted a nasty tweet tagging actress Sunny Leone on the occasion of International Women’s Day.
He tweeted: “I wish all the women in the world give men as much happiness as Sunny Leone gives.”
Sunny took RGV’s comment casually but, the filmmaker was strongly criticised for his sexist tweet. Later, a complaint was also filed against the director. After which the filmmaker also expressed his apology on Twitter. .
He tweeted, “Was just expressing my feelings but I apologise to all who were offended due to my unintended insensitive tweets in context of women's day.”
RGV’s upcoming film ‘Sarkar 3’ featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Yami Gautam and Jackie Shroff is all set to release on April 9.
