New Delhi: Actress Priyanka Chopra has accomplished various achievements in her acting career. What started after she won the Miss India title saw no halt till she became a well-known face in the global arena. And looks like she won’t stop any time soon!
Her latest achievement was when she made it to the TIME’s list of 100 most influential people in the world. Out of the six covers allotted to renowned personalities, she featured in one.
And now a video by TIME explains Priyanka’s journey through her own eyes. In a candid conversation, Desi Girl speaks about how she was made fun of in school and how she tackled it. She speaks how she told herself to set a goal, go on a path which no one else has ever walked on and even if that road fails her, it will be hers.
Priyanka also talks about how ‘Fashion’ changed her. How a female led movie was well received and it instilled a new confidence in her.
The actress who was criticised for her colour, told that it is a great thing that an Indian girl is playing a FBI recruit in an American TV series. This means that the world gets to know that India is not only about nerds, computer science engineers and they don’t have an accent like Appu from the ‘The Simpsons’.
