Aamir Khan’s love for Marathi led him to break THIS promise
The Marathi film industry has grown immensely over the last few years and, has started to give tough competition to Bollywood. In such a scenario, “Dangal” star Aamir Khan recently talked about his love for the Marathi cinema.
The superstar shot for an episode of the popular Marathi comedy show “Chala Hava Yeu Dya”. And this was interesting and surprising because Aamir broke his own rule.
In the past, the actor had promised that he wouldn’t appear in any reality show but, to Marathi fans' delight, Aamir made his debut in the show and took everyone by surprise.
The highlight was when Aamir took the stage and a sang a Marathi song “Apsara Aali”. The audience went crazy and the star also enjoyed the moment.
The 52-year-old actor said that he had watched several Marathi films such as “Natrang”, “Fandry” and “Sairat” and loved them all.
He also announced that he is looking forward to working in Marathi cinema which has been churning out some brilliant films lately.
The actor went on to say that he is learning the language and will be fluent once he starts working in a Marathi film or produces one.
Well, just not Aamir, but the two other superstar Khans, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, have already appeared in the popular show.
Mr Perfectionist just celebrated his 52nd birthday on 14th March in the presence of his family and friends.
