Shah Rukh Khan to face serious charges for killing a man during Raees promotions?
Shah Rukh Khan might find himself in some deep legal troubles after Deputy Superintendedt of Police (Western Railway) Tarun Barot submitted a report saying that it was due to the negligence by Bollywood actor, that a man died during his promotional trip for film Raees. SRK can be booked under IPC section 304a2 (causing death due to negligence) and sections of the Railway Act for creating a stampede and chaos at Vadodara Railway Station on January 23rd 2017.
What happened actually?
To promote Raees, Shah Rukh Khan opted to travel by train from Mumbai to New Delhi. He was aboard August Kranti Rajdhani Express to reach New Delhi for promotions. A person named Farid Khan Pathan died due to heart attack after he was suffocated in a 15,000-strong mob gathered to meet King Khan.
After learning about the incident, Shah Rukh Khan expressed his grief and called it unfortunate. The deceased’s family holds nothing against the actor and call it an accident. But the reports filed by DSP suggest that SRK shouldn’t have incited the crowd by throwing t-shirt and other object. If he hadn’t done this, the incident would not have occurred.
“If Shah Rukh Khan had not thrown T-shirts, balls and other things towards the public, then such an incident would not have occurred, thus owner of Excel Entertainment Pvt Ltd Mumbai and film actor Shah Rukh Khan should be booked under the IPC sections 279 (rash and negligent act), 336 (act endangering life or personal safety of others), 337 (causing hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of others), 338 (causing grievous hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of others), 304a2 (causing death by negligence) and sections of Railway Act 145,152,175 and 179.”
