Filmmaker Vikram Bhatt is all set to roll out a web series on YouTube titled ‘Maaya’, which is loosely based on the hit novel ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’.

The series, reportedly, will revolve around BDSM and sex. Actress Shama Sikander, who started his acting career with TV show ‘Yeh Meri Life Hai’, will be seen in the lead role in the soon to be rolled out project.

Recently, Shama Sikander made it to the limelight when her short film ‘Sexoholic’ released on YouTube.

Her bold scenes in the video were widely discussed and it seemed the lady was soon going to bag the limelight once again for the very same reason.

In a recent interview with a leading English daily, Shama Sikander opened about doing intimate scenes in the web series.

She said,

“It’s funny to call them as sex scenes or bold scenes because it doesn’t need a tag. It is as natural as the other things you do. You eat food, you go out, you party, you have sex. It is that normal but by putting such words you make it look abnormal, out of this world. So, I don’t think we should use these words. It is a love story for me and it will have scenes according to the requirement of the script. It will surely have some beautiful scenes to which I am really looking forward to shoot”.

Further, when asked if ‘Maaya’ was inspired from ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’, Shama said, ‘Yes some parts have been taken. You can see the concept of BDSM pictured, but in a different way. It is a love story but with a different angle. It is more intense and more realistic.”

Well! Going by the details it looks like this web series is going to attract a lot of eyeballs when it will air on the Internet.
