Sridevi and her beautiful daughters are always in the news. While the elder one Jhanvi Kapoor is all set to make her Bollywood debut with Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year 2, the younger sibling Khushi Kapoor isn’t interested in acting. Khushi wants to pursue her career in modelling, revealed doting mother Sridevi in a recent interview with DNA. Recently, the news of Khushi auditioning for Remo D’Souza’s Dance Plus 3 made huge headlines. However, Sridevi denied all such rumours.

The veteran actress, who is receiving ton of compliments for her latest film Mom, came to the forefront to speak about her younger daughter’s future plans. “Yes, Khushi says she wants to get into modelling. Pehle, she wanted to become a doctor. Phir doctor se lawyer and now it’s modelling. So, I am waiting for the shock to happen”, Sridevi said.

Considering the trend that has seen several models eventually make the transition from the runway to the big screen, it will just be a small leap for the star daughter from the ramp to Bollywood.

The fact that elder daughter Jhanvi will be heading to cinemas first, seems to have put the protective mother at ease. She agrees that it won’t be much of a surprise. “Woh instalment mein aa chuka hai. So yes, thanks to Jhanvi, we are now more comfortable with the idea of Khushi (in films) too”, the actress added.

On a related not, B-town celebs are in awe of Sridevi’s film Mom. The movie is a drama thriller and also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Akshaye Khanna. Along with them, Pakistani actress Sajal Ali will be seen playing Sridevi’s daughter in the film.
