On the opening day, the film performed exceptionally well at places like Rajasthan, Bihar, Assam and Odisha. The earnings are expected to take jump in metros on Saturday. Going by the general trend of such films over the years, collections will drop by around 10-15 per cent on Saturday at the mass circuits, but it would be interesting to see if metro collections help it stay steady at the same level.

‘Baaghi’ opened to 2750 screens nationwide and 344 screens overseas, and saw around 30 percent in the morning shows. It has witnessed spectacular openings in the Gulf as it earned Rs 1.54 crore. In UAE-GCC, ‘Baaghi’ has become bigger than ‘2 States’, ‘ABCD 2’ and three times that of Tiger’s debut ‘Heropanti’.

However, critics were not too happy with the movie. Many labelled the movie as plastic as Tiger’s body and said that Shraddha is a disappointment
