When a senior tried to apply sindoor on ‘Bhabhiji’ Saumya’s forehead during childhood
TV actress Saumya Tondon who is famous for portraying the character of Anita in famous show ‘Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai’ has recently revealed that during her childhood days, a self proclaimed lover tried to apply sindoor on her forehead on Valentine’s Day.
The actress revealed to a leading daily that on the fateful day, when she was in class 11, a senior stopped her way. He wished her Valentine’s Day and also tried to put sindoor on her forehead. Saumya further added that she thought that he was going to pour acid on her, and thought scarred her and she started shouting for help. People gathered there and her senior ran away.
The actress admitted that thinking about that incident gives her belly laugh today, but that time it scared her deep inside. Saumya said that every girl may have faced such type of incidents, at least once in her lifetime.
The telly star tied the knot with her long-term beau, Saurabh Devendra Singh last year. Few days back, she was seen enjoying with him in London. With her charismatic persona and beautiful smile, Saumya has become a house hold name these days.
The lady made her Bollywood debut in Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Jab We Met’ where she played the role of Kareena’s younger sister Roop. Lately, Saumya is receiving praises for her role in her latest show ‘Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai’.
