Amitabh Bachchan supports film fraternity's stands on Salman Khan hit-and-run case
New Delhi: Days after the most had already been said and done on Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's case, here comes a strict limelight. Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, in his latest interview has voiced his certain opinions on the hit-and-run case involving Salman Khan.
Big B has come confidently straight on the issue that the entire film fraternity acts as a family when one of them is in trouble.
Senior Bachchan seemed strong enough to answer when blamed that "the film fraternity goes out of its way, to protect its own even the person is found guilty". When asked that why "the entire film fraternity was united in support of the man convicted in the case which is Salman Khan," the actor stated that "it's like family."
"If a family member of yours were to be in a similar situation, would you deliberately go out and chuck the person out of the house?," answered Amitabh Bachchan. In fact, Mr. Bachchan appeared fair enough to highlight 'personal camaraderie and personal friendship' in explaining that why the entire film fraternity acts as one in cases like that of Salman Khan or Sanjay Dutt for that matter.
"What is wrong in saying about a good quality in a person? It has nothing to do with the crime. I like somebody's face. I like him on the screen. I like what he is doing as far as charity is concerned and I am just talking about it. I am not saying please look at it compassionately. There's is a law of the land which will take care about it (the crime)."
Well, quite a beaming stand that seems and having come from a stature that Amitabh Bachchan enjoys, the words definitely hold prominence. What do you think?
