New Delhi: The relationship shared by brothers-sisters is unique in its own way. They fight; they make up and then fight again. They are often each others best friends.

Your brothers/sisters are your first best friends, your first critics and your first encounter in understanding the opposite sex. Rakshabandhan is celebrated all across to cherish this never-ending love for your sibling.

As we are celebrating Rakshabandan today, we brings to you the best brother-sister jodis onscreen.

Hare Rama Hare Krishna (1971): The movie is inspired from the actual ‘International Hare Krishna Movement' aka ‘ISCON' and revolves around Prashant, played by Dev Anand, and his sister Janice, played by Zeenat Aman.

As the psychological consequences of a broken family, Janice leaves home and takes shelter in the hippy culture of Kathmandu, Nepal.

The movie showcases the struggles and emotional wave lengths of Prashant, who decides to bring Janice home.

Pyar Kiya Toh Darna Kya (1998): Vishal, played by Arbaaz Khan is an over protective and loving elder brother to Muskaan, played by Kajol.

They live with their chachu (Dharmendra) in a country side and believe that city life is harsh and full of deceits.

The story starts when Muskaan goes to city college and falls in love with Suraj, played by Salman Khan, and how Suraj tries to impress ‘the hard nut to crack' Vishal and win his lady love.
