Of all the ceremonies that are held every year, the most prestigious one is the Filmfare Awards. It is held every year to honour both artistic and technical excellence of professionals in the Hindi language film industry of India.

A Filmfare trophy holds tremendous importance as it is considered as one of the highest honours to be given to Bollywood personalities. The Filmfare Awards have been often referred to as the Hindi film industry's equivalent to The Oscars.
