Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania 'Samjhawan' song review: Arijit Singh fails to create Rahat Fateh Ali Khan's magic
New Delhi: Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania is out with yet another song from the film, titled ‘Samjhawan.' And for all those who were expecting for a never-heard before creation, here's a heart break!
The song sung by Arijit Singh is just another version of ‘Main Tenu Samjhawaa Ki' originally sung by legendry singer, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.
Though the picturisation seems to be good with the culmination of typical Punjab streets, the song will not create a stir in your wit despite Arijit Singh's attempt.
The original ‘Samjhawan' has already been engraved in our hearts with such great associations that revamping the similar music doesn't serve the purpose here. Moreover, as the song progresses, you'll definitely feel the irk of missing Rahat's soothing Punjabi texture that has become synonym with the original ‘Samjhawan.'
Alia Bhatt's intriguing bubbly charm has again been roasted in the song but you would not be able to resist the song just to see how beautiful Alia looks on screen.
For all the ardent Rahat's fans out there, this Arijit Singh's treat would give a certain doze of fury and impulsiveness.
Had this song been out before the original ‘Main Tenu Samjhawan' and had the audience not already been waived by the magic that the earlier one created, this version by Arijit Singh would have definitely hit the chord.
