Salman Khan actually has the copyright on dropping his shirt. However, of late, other actors have been trespassing into Salman's marked territory. Shah Rukh Khan went shirtless in Om Shanti Om, Aamir Khan flaunted an eight-pack in Ghajini, and last year Shahid Kapoor packed in a shirtless punch in Kaminey. Obviously, it is the season for shirtless wonders. This time around, Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn who is sporting a ‘buzz' cut has also decided to go topless for Rohit Shetty's Golmaal-3.

Says the actor, “I've done this because I feel very confident about the way my body looks.” Rohit feels Ajay who turned 41 this April, has one of the best bodies in the business. Ajay himself is more modest about his fllawless physique. “For me it is all about feeling fit and being fit,” he says.

The actor who is maniacal about his gym sessions, works out relentlessly for an hour every day whichever part of the world he is in. He travels with most of his special weights and freestyle gym equipment. “I only concentrate on weights and some free-hand exercises. I use cardio only when I have to drop some weight,” says the actor.

As far his eating goes, Ajay has always been very disciplined. “I believe in eating simple, home-cooked meals,” he reveals. “If I'm travelling, which is almost 300 days in a year, because I'm wrapping up six films simultaneously, then I request the hotel kitchen to give me very simple food. Invariably, it is a Continental style fish or chicken with no bread or rotis.”

The actor admits that he can't do away with cigarettes or his alcohol. “I'm trying to give up smoking because my daughter Nysa has urged me to. But I'm unsuccessful. Guess I'm not trying hard enough,” he admits ruefully. “As for the alcohol, I just have two drinks on an average.

However, since alcohol has enough carbs, I don't include any carbohydrates in my diet especially in the evenings.” Asked why he doesn't flaunt his abs more often on screen, the actor laughs and says, “The concept of six packs is very juvenile. If I need six packs, I can get it in a fortnight with a good mix of cardio and weight training. However, why should I want to flaunt six packs? I'm not a gay icon.”
