Salman Khan starts shooting for Kabir Khan's 'Bajrangi Bhaaijaan' in Delhi
New Delhi: Salman Khan has started shooting for Kabir Khan's upcoming film ‘Bajrangi Bhaijan' in Delhi from today.
Kabir Khan kick-started first schedule of film's shooting on the banks of Yamuna early in the morning. He also tweeted, “7:30 am on the banks of Yamuna in Delhi... #BajrangiBhaijaan begins.”
Salman Khan and Kabir Khan have teamed up to bring another espionage thriller after ‘Ek Tha Tiger'. When asked if this would be the same as ‘Ek Tha Tiger' Kabir Khan clarified that he's doing something different.
“Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Ek Tha Tiger are very different. Salman and I wanted to do something different together otherwise we would have made ETT2. Wait & watch,” the director stated.
Most eligible bachelor of Bollywood, Salman has been giving back to back action blockbusters. Considered best for the genre his last released film ‘Kick' crossed over 300 Crore at box office. It is a guaranteed hit if you can rope in Salman in the film.
Produced by Kabir Khan's own production house Kabir Khan Films Pvt. Ltd. the film also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan in female lead. This will be Salman and Kareena's second film together after ‘Bodyguard'. Nawazuddin Siddiqui also bagged an important role in the film.
Kabir Khan who has big hits ‘New York' and ‘Ek Tha Tiger' under his name will release two films in 2015.
The first schedule of the film was due to start today after the wrap up of Kabir's another film ‘Phantom'. The preparations for the shooting were done accordingly. ‘Phantom' is a counter-terrorism drama starring Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif in leading roles.
‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan' is scheduled to hit the screens on Eid next year.
