Salman Khan-Shah Rukh Khan clash on Eid 2016
New Delhi: Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan may have turned friends now but they are all set to be at logger heads in the next year. Yes! The two superstar Khans of Bollywood are set to battle it out at box office in the year 2016.
Salman Khan who is known to release his films on Eid every year will release his one of the biggest ventures ‘Sultan', as usual next year on the auspicious day.
Reportedly Shah Rukh Khan is also planning to release his ‘Raees' on the same day. Due to too much buzz about Raees's release date, producer Ritesh Sidwani took to Twitter to clear the air about release date of the movie.
“We had announced in February that we will be releasing our film on EID 2016 & we are on schedule to release it as planned #RaeesOnEid2016” tweeted Sidwani.
Ritesh Sidwani along with Farhan Akhtar and Gauri Khan are producing the film under the banners of Excel Entertainment and Red Chillies Entertainment. Whereas, Salman Khan's ‘Sultan' is produced by Aditya Chopra and written-directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. Shooting of the film will commence from November this year.
Salman Khan's this year Eid release ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan', has already made a lot of noise due to its impressive star cast and social media promotional strategy.
Shah Rukh Khan's last release ‘Happy New Year' in the year 2014 was a blockbuster. It was SRK's third outing with Farah Khan starring Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan and Boman Irani.
