New Delhi: Is controversy with the name ‘Shah Rukh Khan slapping Yo Yo Honey Singh' genuine? Well, enough time it's been and lot has been said over the two not maintaining a cordial relationship but finally there is clarification over the entire scenario by rapper's wife Shalini.
Shalini Singh who is married to Honey Singh for thirteen years has finally came out in open over the rumours created in her husband's absence. Shalini has clearly rubbished the reports stating there is a tiff between King Khan and ‘Brown Rang' singer.
It may be recalled that singer and music composer was also part of ‘Happy New Year SLAM! The tour' concert but he didn't turn up in any of the event. The gossipmongers were of the view that SRK slapped Singh for the reason best known to them and the latter returned from the concert.
In an interview to a leading daily, Shalini dumping all those reports said that he was unwell and considering that SRK who is like an elder brother advised him to rest.
“Honey Singh is unwell and that is what is keeping him away from the professional commitments. He has deep respect for Shah Rukh sir and when he told about his health during SLAM tour, Shah Rukh supported him and advised him to take care of his health”, Shalini was quoted as saying in an interview to a leading daily.
She also confirmed that her husband was on heavy medication and hence was forced to leave the concert. "On the tour, Honey was on heavy medication for his BP, and he slipped and fell during the rehearsals and injured his back and head. He was thus forced to come back home. So, Shah Rukh bhai hitting him is just a big rumour”, she said in another interview.
SRK has always been very kind to the youth icon rapper and has always supported him. Honey Singh on the other hand has always respected the King of Romance and considers him like an elder brother.
Their ‘Lungi Dance' number picturised together alongwith Deepika Padukone in last year's blockbuster ‘Chennai Express' is still remembered to one and all.
We hope rumors about them prove wrong and may they give many more hit numbers like that in future.
