Vidya, Ranbir get Best Actor awards at IIFA

Singapore, Jun 9: The International Indian Film Academy(IIFA) awards were announced at a gala event here tonight, with Vidya Balan getting the Best Actress award for the Dirty Picture and Ranbir Kapoor Best Actor award

Singapore, Jun 9: The International Indian Film Academy(IIFA) awards were announced at a gala event here tonight, with Vidya Balan getting the Best Actress award for the Dirty Picture and Ranbir Kapoor Best Actor award for  his movie Rockstar.


 
Zoya Akhtar's Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara was adjudged the Best Film.
 
Rajya Sabha nominated member Rekha gets the award for outstanding contribution to Indian Cinema.
 
Among other awards, Nargis Fakhri and Ranbir Kapoor get the Hottest Pair award, and Farhan Akhtar gets the Best Supporting Male Role award for ZNMD.
 
Patineeti Chopra gets the award for Best Supporting Female Role in Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl.

Best Debutant award: Parineeti chopra

Best  story: Reema Kagti and Zoya Akhtar - for moive "zindagi na milegi dobara"

Best performance in comic role: Ritesh Deshmukh - for the movie "Double dhamal"

Best performance in a negative role: Prakash Raj - for the movie "Singham"

Life time achievement award: Ramesh Sippy

IIFA green award: Diya mirza
