New Delhi: The superstar of the millennium, Amitabh Bachchan, has reached this stature after years of dedication. While he is the favourite star adored by millions, it would be worth knowing who his pigsney actress is.

Is it his wife Jaya Bachchan, daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan or someone from the new era like Kangana Ranaut whom he isn't tired of praising?

No, it is none of the aforementioned beauties.

Amitabh accepted at a recent book launch event that he was in awe of actress Waheeda Rehman. The two met at the book launch of ‘The Big Indian Wedding' written by Sakshi Salve, the daughter of legal honcho Harish Salve.

Waheeda, who is 77 years old, has shared screen space with Big B in the movies Kabhie Kabhie and Trishul. After his meeting with the talented actress, who has the charm to mesmerise everyone, he took to his blog to describe his feelings.

“And then the lovely Waheeda Rehman, my favourite from the time I started seeing cinema. And her childlike mischievous banter, resonant from the time I met her 45 years ago, and then through films that I did with her - Reshma Shera, Kabhi Kabhie, Adalat and Trishul and so many other,” Big B wrote.

"Still with Waheeda ji and sharing a little personal moment, which harps on the presence of some guests and their...well ... never mind," he added.

The actor, who was last seen in Piku as Deepika Padukone's father, is working with filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra who has co-produced Mr Bachchan's upcoming film Wazir. He shared a picture of Vidhu and him and captioned it, "Vidhu Vinod Chopra and his continued connect with his films even in the most non film like environment, showing me the publicity material for Wazir."
