As a result of this, one starts getting dark circles. Usually people tend to ignore them but gradually these circles become the part of one's personality. It makes one look tired, exhausted, unhealthy and older.
While dark circles also occur because of stress, working for long hours on computer, unhealthy diet or may be heredity; getting rid of them seems to be a tough task.
But with the following home remedies one can lighten and gradually get rid of those rigid dark circles and that too quite easily:
There are two ways in which one can use cucumber to lighten the dark circles:
1. Cut a fresh cucumber in thick pieces and place them in a refrigerator for around 30 minutes. Now place these chilled cucumber pieces on your eyes for 10 minutes and then wash your eyes with water. Repeat it twice a day for a week.
2. Take cucumber juice and lemon juice in equal amount and mix them well. Now with the help of a cotton ball apply the mixture on the affected area and leave for 15 minutes. Wash with fresh water and repeat this for at least a week.
Rose water is quite famous among girls for its skin rejuvenation power. Rose water is not just a good skin toner but it also soothes the tired eyes. You can also use it to get rid of those dark circles.
All you need to do is take cotton eye ads and soak them in rose water for a couple of minutes. Now place these eye pads on your eyes and leave them for 15 minutes. Repeat it twice a day.
Almond oil is one of the best natural ingredients to lighten those dark circles.
All you need to do is massage your eyes, especially the affected area with a little almond oil before going to bed, and leave it over night. Wash it off with cold water the next morning. Do this remedy daily to see the affects.
With tomato having bleaching properties, it is very beneficial for lightening those rigid dark circles. However, there are two ways in which you can use it.
1. Take one spoon of tomato juice along with one and ½ spoon of lemon juice and mix them well. Now apply this mixture on your eyes and leave it for 10 minutes before rinsing it off with water. Repeat this twice a day for a couple of weeks. You can also use tomato juice alone if lemon juice causes a burning sensation.
2. Take a glass of tomato juice along with some mint, lemon juice and salt. Mix it well and have it twice a day. Make sure you have the juice immediately after making it.
Massaging with Coconut oil is considered to be the best way to nourish your hair naturally. However you'll be surprised to know the coconut oil is also used to moisturize eyes and remove wrinkles.
Just massage with coconut oil under the eyes and leave it for few hours before washing it off. Repeat it twice or thrice a day in order to get satisfying results.
