Temperature drops down in Delhi, settles for 36.8 degree Celsius
New Delhi: It was comparatively less hot in the national capital today as the mercury settled below normal levels.
The maximum temperature was recorded at 36.8 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average while the minimum temperature settled at 23 degrees, normal for this time of the year, said a Met department official. The drop in temperature is because of a Western disturbance prevailing over the northern region for the last four days.
The humidity level in air remained on the lower side and oscillated between 56 and 13 per cent. The weatherman has predicted clear skies for tomorrow.
"The skies will be mainly clear. Dust haze is very likely to occur during morning and evening. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover at 38 and 23 degrees,"
the official said.
Yesterday, the maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded at 39.5 degrees Celsius and 24.8 degrees Celsius respectively.
