Injured Victims Struggling For Life In Varanasi Hospitals

Varanasi, Dec 8 : Three of the injured, including an Italian national,are presently struggling for life in Varanasi hospitals.
Dr R K Singh, emergency in-charge of Kabirchowra government hospital said, 13 persons have been admitted, while three others have been sent to Heritage Hospital, Lanka.

52-year-old Italian national Monterley, 35-year-old Mira Devi of Pune, and 18-year-old Kaushalesh of Varanasi have been shifted to Heritage Hospital for critical treatment.
Of them, Kaushalesh is critical. Both his legs have been blown off and he has severe head injuries.

City Magistrate Srinath Shukla said, a French lady, 44-year-old Rochelle had six splinter injuries and has been discharged after treatment.
Pune resident Mira Devi said, a big stone landed on her head soon after the blast and she was rendered unconsciousl
Bechan Yadav of Ghazipur said, splinters and stone pies began to fall soon after the blast and people started running helter-skelter. He was taken to Marwari Hospital.

A Patna couple, Arjun Prasad Verma, 48, and his wife Premlata Devi,45, who had come to watch the Ganga Aarti are injured and being treated in Kabirchowra Hospital.
Other injured admitted in Kabirchowra hospital include 19-year-old Priya of Varanasi, Vishnu of Mirzapur, Bholey Baba of Gujarat, Dev Kant of Samastipur, Gopal Maurya, 45, and Radhika Saini of Varanasi, Vipin Bihari Tiwari of Deoria and Bechan Yadav of Ghazipur.
