Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Police have arrested Rajendra Kaswa, the prime accused of an explosion in Petlawad town of Jhabua district.
According to a report in Times of India, Rajendra Kaswa was nabbed in Maharshtra.
The report also said that after Kaswa's wife Pramila, son Shubham and Daughter Sonia were detained from Manpur near Indore on Tuesday night, a police team left for Maharashtra to nab Kaswa.
It was after their arrest that police got clues about Kasawa, who had been absconding since the explosion on Saturday.
Jhabua Superintendent of Police, GG Pandey, however, refused to give any further information about the development stating that the matter was under investigation.
At least 89 people were killed and nearly 100 injured yesterday after a massive blast caused by mining explosives stored in a building ripped through a crowded area in Petlawad town on saturday.
The explosion was triggered from stockpile of gelatin rods, urea, nitrogen-potassium and phosphorous stored inside a locked shop on Petlawad-Thandla highway.
