New Delhi: In a startling revelation, DMK chief Karunanidhi has said his older son Alagiri has told him that his younger brother Stalin will die within three months.

In a television interview, Karunandihi said Alagiri used harsh words against his younger brother M K Stalin.

"I do not know why Alagiri has nurtured such hatred against Stalin for many years," the DMK chief said.

He also indicated that Alagiri's suspension would not be revoked very soon and said that the party would take a call on the issue.

Alagiri, a former Union Minister and MP, was suspended from the party on 24 January from primary membership and all posts he held in the party.

"Considering that his continuing in the party is not proper, and that it could affect party discipline, Alagiri is being temporarily removed from all party posts including primary membership," the party had said in a statement.

Alagiri had told Puthiya Thalaimurai, a Tamil news channel that except his father he would not accept anyone as the DMK chief.

He had also said that a lot of decisions were taken by the DMK top brass without his congnisance.
