Mumbai traffic police issues urgent advisory to motorists

Mumbai: Mumbai traffic police has issued an urgent advisory  to motorists from suburban areas.Police has advised people to avoid -Bhindi Bazaar, Nal Bazaar, Charni Road, Marine Drive, Malabar Hills, Girgaum Chowpatty, Grant Road, Mohammed Ali

Mumbai: Mumbai traffic police has issued an urgent advisory  to motorists from suburban areas.

Police has advised people to avoid -Bhindi Bazaar, Nal Bazaar, Charni Road, Marine Drive, Malabar Hills, Girgaum Chowpatty, Grant Road, Mohammed Ali Road, Opera House today as more traffic is expected here because of the state funeral of Dawoodi Bohra chief Syedna Burhanuddin.

The advisory requested police not to take Worli-Haji Ali-Marine Drive route, and instead prefer Worli, Lower Parel, Saat Raasta, D B Marg, Charni Road route for those who come from western suburbs like Dahisar, Bandra, Andheri, Borivali to South Mumbai.

Police has requested people to take Eastern Express highway and BPT Road to reach CST and Churchgate from eastern suburbs like Ghatkopar, Kurla, Mulund, Vikhroli and Kanjur Marg.,
