A poem celebrating 21 glorious years of Rajat Sharma's show "Aap Ki Adalat"
New Delhi: India's longest running television show “Aap Ki Adalat” hosted by Rajat Sharma, India TV Editor-in-chief and one of the pioneers of TV journalism in India, has successfully completed 21 glorious years. It made its debut on the small screen in 1993.
Rajat Sharma has grilled celebrities from almost every walk of life on his show. These celebrities ranged from Shiv Sena supremo the late Bal Thackeray, Pakistan's cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan, former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee to the present PM Narendra Modi.
Not known for being bogged down by the aura and persona of his guests, Rajat Sharma has fearlessly asked incisive questions to top-line politicians, film stars and sportspersons alike.
Shakeel Akhtar, who works as Senior Editor with India TV, has penned a beautiful poem to celebrate 21 years of the legendary show “Aap Ki Adalat”.
