Asean-India car rally reaches Myanmar capital

Naypyidaw, Dec 13: Large number of  people, including children, in Myanmar  turned out on the road on Wednesday  to cheer the participants as the second edition of the ASEAN-India car rally rolled on to enter its penultimate leg, reaching  the capital Naypyidaw.



Organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), the rally traversed a distance of around 467kms today to cover a total distance of over 6000kms so far.

In the evening participants were entertained by  Indian and Myanmar dance troupes.

The rally will cover a distance of 290kms to reach  Mandalay, Myanmar's old capital.
