I howl, I cry and beg for mercy. I don't want to die; I don't want to be murdered so brutally. I am my owner's loyal pet! We've spent 4 lovely years together.

And today, I am being taken away from him; in fact stolen, only to be taken to the most inhumane festival celebrated by humans.

I am being taken to southern province of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, infamously called YULIN!

They say we'll be treated brutally. We will be beaten, slaughtered, torn apart, smashed with hammers, boiled alive and, may be run over by cars, or cut into pieces while we are still breathing; only to be relished by some inhumanes.

I don't want to be butchered!!!!

Humans do this every year. Last year, they stole around 15,000 and slaughtered all of them as cold-bloodedly as possible. Our tortured bodies made up to a meat of around 226,800 Kgs for them. I wonder if we really deserved that.

Every June 21, they do this to mark summer solstice; stimulate their internal heat to bring luck and wealth. I wonder if our tortured souls can bring you a better warmth of the season.

Today, their own culture stands jeopardised due to this regional tradition. Guangxi has already tarnished its image even after having spectacular and panoramic tourist places, yet the ruthless festival hasn't stopped yet.

I get to he from many places around, the renowned and ordinary have come together and even from neighbouring India they have asked to #StopYulin2015, ; they have petitioned and pleaded to stop the cold-blooded massacre.

My brethren are howling, in the hands of a butcher; cut and bled. There are yet another hundreds; all waiting to be cut, skinned alive and probably grilled. Nahh!!!

Humbly I beg, please let me die here and now.
