New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday extended best wishes to the Mehbooba Mufti-led government in Jammu & Kashmir and hoped it will fulfil the dreams and aspirations of people of the state.

"Congratulations & best wishes to Ms. Mehbooba Mufti, Dr. Nirmal Singh & all those who took oath today," he said in a tweet.
"May the new Government of J&K leave no stone unturned in fulfilling dreams & aspirations of the people & take J&K to new heights of progress," he said.

The PDP president was sworn-in ceremony along with 22 ministers.

56-year-old Mehbooba took the oath of office and secrecy in Urdu followed by BJP's Nirmal Singh, who will again be the deputy chief minister in the new PDP-BJP government formed three months after the state was put under Governor's rule following the demise of her father Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.
