Shiv Sena slams BJP for promoting PM Modi's work in Cinema halls
Mumbai: Shiv Sena has once again targeted alliance partner BJP for promoting government's good work and achievements in cinema halls.
Taking a dig at the Centre, the Shiv Sena in its editorial mouthpiece Saamana said that the promotional film showing good works by Modi government won't work, as country's 33 per cent area is facing drought-like situation and the govt has been unsuccessful in providing them with relief.
The editorial said, the documentaries being shown at the cinema halls should also highlight various other national welfare schemes and focus on other national leaders besides PM Modi.
The party also slammed Parliamentary Affairs Minister Venkaiah Naidu for his decision to broadcast Modi govt's success story in cinema halls before every show.
Warning the BJP on comparing Modi with God, the party said," when PM Modi is being labelled as God, it is quite obvious why Ram temple issue has taken a back seat.
"Is this really time to show what you have done, it shouldn't bounce back like 'Shining India ' campiagn," the editorial cautioned BJP.
