Bangalore: Launching a door-to-door campaign here to ‘expose' the decade-long rule of the UPA at the Centre, BJP National General Secretary Ananth Kumar today claimed the Congress will be decimated in Lok Sabha polls and Narendra Modi will become Prime Minister.

“The Congress will be decimated in the parliamentary polls. Results in recent elections in five states are a testimony. People are fed up of Congress. They want a visionary leader and party. Across the country, it is Modiji versus Rahul Gandhi,” Kumar said.  Kumar claimed there is Modi wave across the nation, as people were fed up with “corruption, scams and nepotism by Congress in last one decade.”

“Everyday, people are facing challenges in their day-to-day activities, as corruption has percolated to all levels under the Congress rule. The time for change has come and none can stop Modiji from becoming the Prime Minister,” he said.

Earlier in the day, Kumar participated in “Free Bengaluru” cycle jatha aimed at promoting use of cycles in the city by reducing reliance on fossil fuel-driven vehicles.  Kumar, who too rode a cycle, said he was excited to be part of the event, as it reminded him of his college days.
