New Delhi: Popular writer Chetan Bhagat has lashed out at the Aam Aadmi Party government in Delhi for handing out sops in the form of 20,000 litres free water supply and huge subsidies on electricity bills, saying this was "also a form of corruption".

Writing on Twitter, Bhagat says: "AAP may be honest, but it controls state money now. It also desires to grow fast politically. How they spend state money should be watched.

"To me, ignoring long-term national interest to further one's political base in the short-term is also a form of corruption.
