Lok Sabha polls: BJP ahead in four states, says a survey

New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is likely to garner the maximum vote share in the Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh if the Lok Sabha elections are held now, according to the election tracker conducted by CSDS for a news channel.

In Gujarat, BJP is projected to secure a 53 percent vote share, the Congress 32 percent and the Aam Aadmi Party seven percent.

In Maharashtra, the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance is likely to grab 44 percent vote share while the saffron party's vote share in Madhya Pradesh is likely to be 51 percent.

The Congress in MP may have to make do with 29 percent votes.
