Nitish Kumar to launch 'Samparak yatra' today
New Delhi: Senior JD (U) leader Nitish Kumar will be launching a 17-day yatra (march) of the state today onwards which would be a major event ahead of state Assembly elections due next year.
Kumar will launch 'Sampark yatra' from West Champaran district today.
He would cover at least two districts everyday during the march that is scheduled to end on November 29.
Last month when Kumar returned from Delhi he had held a meeting with top JD (U) leaders including state President Basistha Narayan Singh at his residence in which the programme of 'Sampark yatra' was finalized.
The yatra would be a major event as the state gears up for poll next year.
