Praises for the most successful Indian limited overs captain are not only coming from the cricket fraternity, but from popular Bollywood celebrities as well. Prominent film personalities including Salim Khan, Shekhar Kapur, Anupam Kher and Sushant Singh Rajput have saluted Mahendra Singh Dhoni for his contribution to the game.

Dhoni stumped all on Wednesday when he informed the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) that he is stepping down as the skipper.

The 35-year-old had already retired from Test cricket in December 2014 but continued to lead the national team in the shorter formats of the game. A glimpse of both his personal and professional life can be seen in his 2016 biopic "MS Dhoni: The Untold Story", in which Sushant was seen as Dhoni.

After Dhoni's announcement, various Bollywood celebrities took to Twitter to applaud his captaincy.
