India vs West Indies, One-off T20I Highlights: West Indies beat India by 9 wickets at Sabina Park
Chasing a challenging 191, opener Evin Lewis dominated in sheer manner as he hammered an unbeaten 125 to power West Indies to a nine-wicket win over India in the one-off T20 international at Sabina Park in Jamaica. Lewis also became the first batsman to score back-to-back hundreds against a same opposition in T20 internationals. Lewis' 125* is also the highest individual score for any batsman in T20Is. The Indian bowlers didn't have any answers to Lewis' onslaught and they were tonked all over the park. The win in the T20I will give West Indies some pride after a below-par performance in the five-match ODI series, which they lost 3-1. (SCORECARD)
HIGHLIGHTS FROM INDIA VS WEST INDIES, ONE-OFF T20I AT SABINA PARK
West Indies have totally decimated the hosts and bantered the 190-run target in some style. After opting to bowl first, they were highly confident of chasing the target down and just proved that. India batted well and posted a more than competitive total on the board thanks to some fantastic batting by their openers and Karthik. But when they stepped out to ball, things changed completely.
The hosts bowled their heart out but it was Evin Lewis who had different plans altogether. Outscoring Gayle is difficult they say but this lad did that in some style. He got a couple of reprieves but except that it was just some sensational power hitting. Evin went onto score the highest score by any batsmen in a T20I during a chase which just speaks volume of his batting.
Evin Lewis did get company in Gayle and Samuels who looked standby's throughout the chase. None of the Indian bowler's could trouble them. Kuldeep Yadav got a wicket but he went for plenty as well. The hosts will look to put this defeat to bed as they head to their next conquest in Sri Lanka.

20.45 IST: Captain's Corner:
Virat Kohli: I also want to better my toss record. I called heads five times and lost; today I call tails and still lose. Windies are the World Champs for a reason. When we end up thinking too much, we end up compromising too much in a T20 game. It's difficult to switch (players) for just one game. The guys have played in IPL, so have a lot of exposure. It's important to have the same bunch of guys and have them perform. The guys have the skillset to do it.
Carlos Brathwaite: We will bowl first. Team India likes to chase as well. We will try to bowl well. We also don't have the baggage and it's about taking positives. We come in fresh (on him not being a part of the ODI set-up). For me as a young guys, to have those guys (Gayle and Co.) is a blessing. It's a massive privilege and we will try to put our best foot forward. For me personally, it's an opportunity to learn from them.
20.35 IST: Playing XIs:
India: Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli (c), Rishabh Pant, Dinesh Karthik, MS Dhoni (wk), Kedar Jadhav, Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammed Shami, Bhuvneshwar Kumar
West Indies: Chris Gayle, Evin Lewis, Chadwick Walton (wk), Marlon Samuels, Kieron Pollard, Rovman Powell, Carlos Brathwaite (C), Sunil Narine, Samuel Badree, Jerome Taylor, Kesrick Williams
20.30 IST: Toss! West Indies won the toss and opted to bowl vs India.
After registering an emphatic victory in the fifth and final ODI against West Indies, Team India would like to end the Caribbean tour on a high with a win in the one-off T20 international at Sabina Park in Jamaica. The onus will once again be on Skipper Virat Kohli who might open the innings for the visitors in absence of Rohit Sharma. Whereas, West Indies will also be bolstered by the presence of world's biggest hitter - Chris Gayle in their ranks for the T20 match.
Despite the presence of T20 marauder - Chris Gayle, India still hold the upper hand over the hosts after the 3-1 win in the five-match ODI series.
The T20 veteran Gayle will be donning the Caribbean Maroons after a gap 15 months during which he has battled injuries as well as a poor form during the IPL, which was his last competitive tournament before this particular game.
West Indies are reigning world champions with the likes of Gayle, Marlon Samuels, Sunil Narine and Samuel Badree still a part of the current squad led by their World T20 hero Carlos Brathwaite.
Also, there’s Evin Lewis, who had scored a 49-ball-100 in West Indies’ one-run win over India in a T20 game in Florida, last year. (Read Full Preview Here)
