New Delhi: In a tragic incident, Pakistani pacer Junaid Khan lost his first child a few days ago. His wife is recovering and is still hospitalised. The reason of death of Junaid’s child is yet to be revealed. 

The 26-year-old cricketer took to Twitter to confirm the terrible news. He also stated about his wife’s condition being stable. 

 

Worst day in my life i have lost my first baby but with the grace of allah my wife health is good and she is doing better now. Thanks Allah

In another Tweet, Junaid thanked everyone for praying for his wife’s health.

Few days ago, rumours about death of Shahid Afridi’s younger daughter Asmara made rounds on social media. However, Asmara, who was admitted in a hospital to undergo a dental surgery, is recovering fast. 

Junaid Khan has represented Pakistan team in all three forms of cricket. He has picked up 71 wickets in 22 Test matches, whereas 78 wickets in 52 ODIs. In T20 cricket, Junaid has claimed 8 wickets in nine matches.
