New Delhi: ‘Most dangerous duo’ or ‘nightmare for bowlers’ are few of the terms assigned by cricket maniacs to Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers who seem to be taking their game a notch higher with every match.

Yesterday, the duo blasted off 155 runs together which marked their third 100 plus partnership in four outings of this season’s IPL.

It is indeed a treat for all the fans to watch the two most lethal batsmen thrash the bowlers together.

While the fans in stadium shout at top of their voices while watching them bat, Twitterati is not far behind in applauding the deadly duo. They have gone all out in the appreciation of the two Cricket stars.

During yesterday’s match between Rising Pune Supergiants and Royal Challengers Bangalore, the series of tweets that followed the 155-run stand between Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers is the proof of their wide popularity. Here are the best ones:

AB is a freak. Blessed to be alive to see him perform. No partnership is more threatening than AB-VK. Well played #RPSvRCB

The only duo which was more productive than Kohli & deVilliers was Dhritarashtra & Gandhari.

Vijay Mallya should declare Virat Kohli and AB De Villiers as Directors of Kingfisher.

Kohli and De Villiers guided RCB to a comfortable 13-run victory over MS Dhoni’s Pune. With this pace, RCB is emerging as a tough competitor for fellow teams in IPL 2016.
