Perth, Australia: A brisk knock by jos Buttler helped England scored 316 for eight in the 4th  ODI against Australia here Friday.



Put in to bat, England got off to a good start provided by skipper Alastair Cook and Ian Bell added 87 in 12 overs against inconsistent Australian bowling, which was followed by another half-century stand between Bell and Ben Stokes.

For Asutralia James Faulkner took four wickets for 67 runs.

Australia has already won the five match series by 3-0 and England would hope to stop another white wash after 0-5 defeat in Ashes.

Australia rested four regulars: captain Michael Clarke, Shane Watson, Brad Haddin and David Warner.  

England 316-8 (Jos Buttler 71, Ben Stokes 70, Ian Bell 55, Alistair Cook 44; James Faulkner 4-67).
