Colombo, Sri Lanka (AP): Spinners Rangana Herath and Milinda Siriwardana shared seven wickets Monday to lead Sri Lanka to a 72-run win over the West Indies in the second test to sweep the series played for the Sobers-Tissera trophy 2-0.

Set 244 runs to win, the West Indies were bowled out for 171 after lunch with Darren Bravo top scoring with 61.

The tourists were comfortable at 80-1 in the morning session, but the end of a 60-run stand for the second wicket between Bravo and Shai Hope (35) led to a batting collapse.

The West Indies resumed their second innings at 20 for 1 Monday after the fourth day of the match had been washed out because of rain.

Bravo and Hope raised the West Indies' hopes for a series-leveling win with a dominating 60-run stand for the second wicket.

However, Sri Lanka captain Angelo Mathews introduced Siriwardana in the 17th over of the day and the left-arm spinner struck in his second over beating Hope by flight and having him stumped by wicketkeeper Kusal Perera.

Off spinner Dilruwan Perera had Marlon Samuels (6) caught at slip by Mathews and Siriwardana had Jermaine Blackwood (4) lbw as the West Indies reached lunch on 112 for 4.

Wickets fell regularly after interval with the middle and lower order offering little resistance.

Herath returned figures of 4-56, while Siriwardana had 3-25.

Batting first, Sri Lanka made 200 in its first innings and bowled out the West Indies for 163. Sri Lanka made 206 in its second innings.

Siriwardana was named player of the match for 110 runs, including 68 runs in the first innings and five wickets in the match.

Herath was named player of the series for taking 15 wickets in two matches.
