New Delhi: Sanju Samson, a rare cricketer to have emerged from southern state of Kerela which is more known for football than cricket, has been knocking at national cricket team's door for a few years. Now his dream is just a few days away from representing his country in World Cup, a desire every cricketer dreams of.
Sanju Samson has been included in the 30-prpbables for the 2015 World Cup announced Thursday. He may not make it to the final team as of now but certainly he is in the scheme of things for future Indian team.

Born on 11th November 1994, the 19 years old guy Sanju Samson, from Kerela where football is more popular and played more than cricket caught the eyes of the people who know the finer things of the game ever since he started playing at school level.
His domestic performance and the kind of show he did in IPL impressed the national selectors. He was selected for ODI series and T20 in England this year but unfortunately he didn't got a single opportunity. He was extremely happy with his selection in the international squad and whole village is celebrated his success.

1) Wants to serve the country as an IPS officer
One of the standout young players for India in the last couple of years, Sanju Samson aims to be an IPS officer. Although the news is very surprising, but it has been revealed to be true by his coach Biju George.
Biju George, who is now a coach with the Sports Authority of India (SAI) has said that although Sanju want to play for India in the white colours, becoming an IPS officer, is his aim.
2) Youngest ‘crorepati' in IPL
When Rajasthan Royals offered the talented cricketer a contract renewal in 2014, Samson at 19 years and 58 days became the youngest player to be paid in crores for the cash rich event.
The teenager was retained by the franchise ahead of the auction that puts his value as 4 crores as per IPL retention regulations. It can be remembered that his career began with a 10 Lakh IPL contract with the same team in 2013.
