New Delhi: Homegrown handset maker Micromax has been on a roll for the past one year. The company has been successful in creating a buzz around its Canvas series of smartphones which promise high-end specifications and not so premium price.

Recently, the company entered the high-end smartphone arena by launching its next flagship dubbed the Canvas Knight A350. For just Rs 19,999, the spec sheet of the Canvas Knight could put any sub-Rs 20,000 device to shame. The Micromax Canvas Knight A350 is the first device by the company to be equipped with an octa- core processor – MediaTek 2GHz Tru Octa-Core MT6592T processor, aided by 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. In addition, the smartphone offers a 5-inch Full HD IPS display, offering the full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution, with a pixel count of 443 ppi. The full HD CGS (Continuous Grain Silicon) IPS display is built by SHARP, meaning crisper and clear images. It comes with a 16MP rear camera that is paired with OmniVision's CameraChip sensor and M8 Largan Lens. This camera is also capable of recording videos in Full HD. There is also an 8MP front camera on board.

Clearly, there's a lot more to expect from Micromax given the overall growth in the high-end smartphone market.
