New Delhi: Samsung would soon be launching a variant of Galaxy S III in India, called Samsung Galaxy S III Neo+. The news follows the possible launch of Samsung Galaxy S5 on April 11. Customers can book the phone by paying Rs. 1,500 on the Samsung India online store. . Of course we still do not know the exact price of the smartphone, but Samsung has announced it will be between Rs. 51,000 and Rs. 53,000.

Samsung Galaxy S 3 Neo (GT-I9300I) is similar to the S3 in terms of exterior looks as well as the internal hardware, with the only difference being that S3 Neo+ comes with dual SIM slots and offers more physical memory (1.5GB) and Infrared Blaster (remote control feature), but packs slower 1.2GHz CPU compared to the 1.4GHz quad-core processor seen inside the 2012 original model.

The device has a 4.8-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD Super AMOLED display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and has 1.5GB RAM, compared to 1GB RAM on the Galaxy S3.

The phone will support 8.0-megapixel main camera, 1.9-megapixel front camera, 2100 mAh battery and will offer connectivity features such as 3G network support, GPS/GLONASS, Bluetooth v4.0 and Wi-Fi.

According to Mumbai-based mobile retailer Mahesh Telecom, the phone will be priced at Rs 24,900 in India and the first stocks are expected in the next few days.
